The Bissinger family began the tradition of crafting confections in 17th century France, where their legendary chocolate was enjoyed by European nobility and heads of state. Karl Bissinger brought the Bissinger recipe to the United States. Bissinger remains a family owned business and still uses the same timeless recipes, crafted in new and inventive ways to create a truly luxurious chocolate experience. It believes in preserving the old world techniques necessary for exquisite quality, using copper kettles and preparing the recipes in small batches using fresh ingredients.
