Established in 1974, S.M. Products (B.C.) Ltd. has grown to become one of the largest buyers, processors and marketers of Wild Pacific Halibut in North America. While its main focus is on Pacific Halibut, it has expanded its product line to offer a variety of premium seafood items, including Black Cod, Wild Salmon, Albacore Tuna and Wild Spot Prawns. Its EU and HACCP certified plant meets or exceeds the guidelines set by both the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and US Food and Drug Administration. It also work closely with the International Pacific Halibut Commission (IPHC), OceanWise® and the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), to ensure the preservation of future fishing stocks.
