After researching the benefits of sprouted grains and seeds for human consumption, along with a growing interest from the natural food industry, the Donaldson’s started to supply local businesses with sprouted grains and seeds in 1985. Today they own and operate two sprouting facilities in Ontario, Canada. Second Spring utilizes ancient food preparation techniques of sprouting to give all the benefits of grains, seeds and pulses in today’s world without sacrificing taste, texture or nutrition. It supplies gluten containing grains and allergen free sprouted products.
