NuPasta is a Toronto based company that produces a new pasta made with konjac. Konjac plants are grown in Japan, Korea, and China and known for its health benefits. It contains glucomannan, a water soluble fiber which is known to help control blood sugar levels, reduce cholesterol, improve digestive health and regulates bowel movements. NuPasta has reformulated konjac food to look and taste like pasta to make this healthy food available to the consumer. NuPasta are precooked, simple to prepare and free of preservatives.
