It all started in Germany in the early 1990’s when DermaMed’s founder, Bernard Armani, began his extensive research for a safe and effective natural alternative to topical synthetic cortisone cream. After years of research, he developed a proprietary formula using only herbal extracts and botanical ingredients with no pharmaceutical drug additives. This game-changing formulation is what’s known today as the DermaMedTM All Purpose Balm. Mr. Armani also began utilizing a unique approach, which he termed Intracellular Phyto Technology, to mix plant-derived ingredients. This innovative approach allowed product formulation to quickly penetrate through the skin to deliver its herbal therapeutic and nutrients. Mr. Armani moved to Canada in 1995 and started his own laboratory (DermaMed) in 1997. He has since created an extensive list of natural specialty products and remains devoted to developing more proprietary formulations and innovative specialty natural skin and body care.
