Hampstead Tea is a tea company growing tea at the Makaibari estate in Darjeeling, India. Aside from being organic, the tea estate has been a pioneer in practicing biodynamic tea farming. Whereas other forms of sustainable agriculture are primarily concerned with producing food sustainably, biodynamic farming aspires to be transformative and seeks to maximize health and vitality. Hampstead Tea offers a full range of gluten free, organic Hot & Ice Teas. All products comes in non-plastic “stitched” bag as opposed to using plastic based glues. It offers Loose Leaf Tea pouches in a new material called NatureFlex TM, a material that comes from renewable wood pulp.
