Black Canyon Ranch Organic Beef

Black Canyon Ranch, located near Ashcroft BC is owned by the Donaldson family who have been in farming since 1912. Pioneers in organic food production Rob Donaldson, the founder’s grandson, started the first organic dairy farm in Western Canada in 1998. Today, the third and fourth generation of Donaldson farming family is actively involved in the day-to-day running of the operation. They are deeply committed to compassionate animal care and organic production practices. Cattle herds feature predominantly Angus, Hereford and Angus-cross cattle breeds. These high quality beef cattle are certified organic and grain fed on-site to produce a high level of marbling resulting in flavourful and exceptionally tender beef.
