Grass Root Dairies
Grass Root Dairies was established in 1983. In August 2007, ownership of the farm switched to the Wikkerinks’, a family from Agassiz. It started making plain Gouda and Quark. Over the years has been experimenting with cheese flavours and have recently brought into production a new cheese called Mazuda. Grass Root cheese contain only natural ingredients, no preservatives are added, and manufactured at the Salmon Arm cheese plant. The cheese is made from the milk of company owned grass-fed cows.
